Apple iPhone 3G will last only for 3 more hours

The latest incarnation of Apple’s mobile device, the iPhone 3G, lasts for only half a day (or just a few hours if you’re a heavy user) on a fully charged battery. And since it does not have an accessible battery compartment, you won’t be able to replace the drained battery with a new one, either.
Moreover, for such an expensive device, the 16GB prepaid kit costs P43,799 while the 8GB, P37,599, it does not have a “business card” feature or even a text-forwarding function, important items for text-savvy Filipinos.

Nahh! What The Fact!! iPhone 3G is in my wishlist. By this month Im planning to buy a new one to preplace my old one. But Im a heavy user and I don't want to get it drain so fast. Ahh, I'll get the battery of my uncle's car and Im sure it will take days before it will get drain. Huhh! That's too heavy and bulky. I don't have a pack bag for that. Ah ok, I'll find some later. lolz.

Eraserhead's Fruitcake Taste So Bad

The Eraserheads Reunion Concert was cut short Saturday night after lead singer Ely Buendia was rushed to the Makati Medical Center due to overfatigue.

Im glad I wasn't able to buy a ticket or else my happiness will be shorten also. lolz. By the way, highway! Im an avid fan of Eraserheads. During their concert in Davao City way back 1992, Im one of the hundreds who likes to sing their songs. Ummm, What made the "fruitcake" taste so bad? huh! I like the song "Fruitcake" but I guess I'll stop eating from now on. It might be collapsed myself from eating a cake or singing the "Fruitcake" song. I thought fruitcake is for everybody. lolz. What is Lorem Ipsum?

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Where does it come from?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.

Why do we use it?
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

when I've read about the latin word Lorem Ipsum, the first thing came out from my mind was all about the magic, the vodoo dolls, a witchcraft and many other bad elements. Sorry to tell you but that was how I interpreted the words. lol. I first saw and read this words when I opened an account for blogging mostly in Blogger.com and Wordpress.org. When I chose a templates for my blog, there were some Lorem Ipsum I found especially on a blogspot templates. Now, I know what Lorem Ipsum is. What is Lorem Ipsum again? lol

What is a dead pixel?

I kept in mind one time when I had a client who purchased from me a new Neo laptop. We all knew that the laptop he bought from us was a brand new one and I can attest to that because it was fully sealed and covered. Since my client was so excited, he didn't open and check it for a test instead he toke it away from me like a snatched. As time goes by, he went back to me and decided to ask for replacement. I immediately called a technical support and the sales representative of the product and discussed about his complaint. Unfortunately, one to three dead pixels is not covered for their policy. So, the brand new laptop which he toke and ran it away from me can't be replaced anymore. Lesson learned, take it slowly but surely. Don't be a snatcher. hehehe

Remember that notebook manufacturer have their own policy on how many dead pixels warrants a return and replacement. Neo considers a screen defective only if it has three or more faulty pixels and even Mac PC will do the same policy. The problem is, most people are not aware of this policy before they get their notebook and falsely assume that one dead pixel is good enough to ask for a replacement, but this is generally not the case. Well, LCD screens are the most likely component to contain noticeable flaws in the form of the dead pixels. There are 3.9 million sub-pixels (red, green and blue) on a standard 1280x1024 resolution LCD monitor, and each of these is a transistor. Occasionally these individual transistors responsible for carrying current to a pixel will either short out or remain open resulting in what is called a dead pixel.
